ABOUT ME

I've been interested in makeup for as long as I can remember. I would beg my dad to take me and my middle school friends to the drug store so we could buy makeup and do makeovers on each other. Though I was not very good at it, something about picking up that brush and putting those products on my face sparked something inside of me.

I was always a very creative person, and I've tried it all. I played the piano, played the violin, sang, did musical theatre in middle school and high school, and even tried out painting, but there was nothing I loved more than making myself and others look and feel beautiful.

Once high school ended I enrolled in a liberal education college. Being a college student for a year and a half, I was very unhappy and confused. I wasn't sure what it was that I wanted to do with my life but I knew it wasn't going to be your typical 9-5 job. I decided it was time to step back and look at how I could make my passion for makeup a career.

I immediately started researching the industry and fell in love. Two weeks later, I visited the Makeup Designory with my mom for the first time. I've never felt the way I did when I walked into that school. I knew that this was the place that would allow me all the creative freedom I've always dreamt of. I enrolled and started on February 22, 2021 and since that day, my life has changed completely. I worked very hard, learning things about makeup and fashion I never even thought were aspects of the industry. I had incredible teachers, advisors, and classmates who all had the same motivation and passion as me.

Enrolling at the Makeup Designory has made me realize that my dreams can be my reality. It just takes hard work, dedication, and a foundation of people who believe in you. I'm so passionate about what I do and what I create, and I hope I can show the world your inner beauty through a few strokes of a makeup brush.
